As you gain levels, you gain experience. With this experience, you grow stronger and stronger! You will see and realise, the creatures you have from when you first started practising magic, won't grow with you. You will become too strong. Or rather, your initial pixie or griffin will become too weak to attack with it. But do not fear! A higher tier creature, a creature with a higher uselevel will become available for you, to attack with or to defend your castle with.

The next thing you will witness when you grow stronger and more experienced: you will have to prove your power. At certain magic skill levels, attacking creatures will put you to a test: a skill challenge. These creatures are incredibly strong and cannot be killed by creatures from the same race! This means you must invest your skill points in 2 different skills! This means a diabolic mage will also have to invest in for example elemental skill, to be able to use elemental creatures, just to pass the diabolic challenge.
Be aware, because these challenges will make you think about your skill points you have left to spend. Your skill points are needed for your main skill and your secondary skill. Make a good calculation on beforehand when you want to learn certain skills, this will decide your eventual mage level.

Skill challenges will occur at certain magic skill levels:
- Magic skill level 100: a creature with 72 damage and 125 health will occur. The defences are not altered.

- Magic skill level 150: two creatures with 144/336 damage/health will occur. They yield an item which will negate your item, set your opposing creature's defences to 50/50/50/50. Be aware, the challenge creatures have 150 main defence, 150 main defence means no main magic will do damage.
f.e.: diabolic challenge have diabolic creatures with 150 diabolic defence. When you use a diabolic creature in this challenge, your creatures will do NO damage to the challenge creatures.

- Magic skill level 210: four creature with 288/624 damage/health will occur. They yield an item, which negates your item, sets your creature's defences to 50/50/50/50. The challenge creatures have 150 main skill defence.

- Magic skill level 300: Six creatures with 384/816 damage/health will occur. They yield an item, which negates your item, sets your creature's defences to 50/50/50/50. The challenge creatures have 150 main skill defence.

- Magic skill level 450: Eight creatures with 480/1104 damage/health will occur. They yield an item, which negates your item, sets your creature's defences to 50/50/50/50. The challenge creatures have 150 main skill defence.

Summary:
- You will outgrow your creatures.
- You will face challenges. These challenges must be defended with creatures from another race.
- Be aware you need your skill points to up your main skill and a secondary skill.
